Description: Tubal occlusion via ultrasound is a technique developed at the 2015 MIT Hacking Medicine event. The concept purports to develop a dual-mode probe that will support visualization and treatment via ultrasound. Treatment will consist of administering high-intensity ultrasound to the uterotubal junction (cornua) to induce a sclerosing effect that will lead to tubal closure.
